The traditional council of the Ondo kingdom has decided to confer on the actress, Omotola Jalade a high-profile chieftaincy title in recognition of her outstanding achievement in the movie
industry and also as an illustrious daughter of Ondo State.
Omotola, who was named as one of the most influential 100 people in the world by TIME magazine recently has become a human rights advocate and only a couple of days ago was presented with the Ebony Vanguard Award for her long standing achievements in acting, in Birmingham, United Kingdom in the presence of leading British film-makers.
