Former professional footballer Victor Agali is acquitted of traveling with a false passport. The Nigerian was on December 27, 2009 when he was arrested at Schiphol from Lagos, where he had celebrated Christmas flew back to Greece.
The court in Haarlem ruled Tuesday that the arrest and detention were unjustified.
The 34-year-old Agali eventually was fixed almost two weeks and came on January 5, 2010 at liberty.
The twelve fold Nigerian international footballer is now off. He served in Europe numerous clubs, including FC Schalke 04, Olympique Nice, Olympique Marseille and Hansa Rostock. Agali ended his career at the Chinese Jiangsu Sainty.
